  I propose you this kit which will allow the ohmmeter to give you again accurate measurements on the 3 ranges while leaving your multimeter in its original condition and appearance.

The kit is complete. Everything is there, even the batteries and the solder wire! All you need is a soldering ironwith a fine-tip, a cutter and a screw driver (not supplied with the kit)! All components are integrated easily and completely inside the multimeter: no external box, no on/off switch, no drilling, cutting... of the housing.

The  kit is very easy to install thanks to the updated and very detailed instruction explaining each step of the modification with the support of many detailed pictures. The manual is of course supplied with the kit.
Two batteries are enough. They take place without any modification in the original battery housing and can be replaced very easily.
The batteries are high quality silver oxide type: original Duracell or Varta 357 (SR44) and are not expired. They will provide several years autonomy, depending on the use of the ohmmeter. No LR44 type that have a shorter life time.
No need to re-adjust the full scale, even when the batteries are almost discharged, even after replacing them with new ones.
3 precision resistors are provided. They are useful to check the mid-range accuracy.

• 1 TPS709135DBV micropower linear regulator
• 2 capacitors (2.2µF or 4.7µF X7R 0805 10V or above)
• 2 new and original Duracell or Varta 357 batterie cells
• 3 1% resistors (200Ω, 2.00kΩ, 20.0kΩ)
• ~25cm fine wiring wire
• ~50cm fine solder wire
• 1 insulation tube for the batteries
• 1 spacer (nut) for the battery assembly

Batteries and regulator are supplied in sealed blister packs.
