Description
Changing the snout seal on the end does not require any special tools. We do not offer tech support on these parts. We recommend that they be installed by a qualified professional.
Snout Seal is located on the top of the snout behind the supercharger pulley. If you see oil leaking from there then you probably need to replace your snout seal. You will have to remove the pulley in order to replace this seal.
Also fits on Magnuson blowers.
Works with GM and Ford M90, M62, and M112 superchargers.
After years of selling the Eaton supercharger snout seals and having customers complain all the time about ripping the inner seal because of the horrible design we had a better idea to make one that seals better and is more flexible. The Eaton one is aluminum with a fragile center ring that easily rips. While we were able to install them with ease because we have been doing it for so long, many customers always had problems with them especially if they had an older M62 supercharger. This ones installs easier and does not rip easily. This is an upgrade over the factory snout seal. This may work for many Eaton superchargers, but we know for sure it works really well for 1997-08 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1992-2005 Pontiac Bonneville, 1997-2004 Buick Regal, 2005-07 Chevy Cobalt SS, 2004-07 Saturn Ion Redline, 1995-99 Buick Riviera, 1996-2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, 2004-05 Chevy Impala and Monte Carlo, 2003-05 Ford Mustang Cobra, 1999-2003 Ford F150 Lightning etc
