Fast Pinewood cars derby  utilize speed techniques that make them fast.  Low profile, aerodynamic, lightweight, aggressive COG's give your body an advantage over those that do not look at each aspect in design concept.

Made from an official pine block, this design uses a non standard wheelbase.  It uses an extended wheelbase that does not USE the official slots or slot spacing.  Because of that please check your rules prior to using this design.

  • 7″ in length
  • Minimum 3/8″ ground clearance
  • 1.75″ in width
  • 3.5 oz Lead Canopy weighted car to 120-124 grams (very close to final weight of 5oz) Tungsten putty and foil tape provided for final weigh in
  • This kit may utilize rear camber axles for faster speeds

  • Wheel base:  Wide / Extended wheelbase 11/16" from ends.  KNOW YOUR RULES!  Precision drilled axle holes drilled with the Goat Boy Drill Station.
  • Balanced for max COG 1/2-3/4″ in front of rear axle
  • Sanded to 120 grit finish
  • 4x Rail Rider BSA Axles-- 3k grit, deburred, shaped, straightened, and polished --ready to race.  3x 2.5 degree, 1x 1.5 degree.  May Exchange for straight axles if desired. 
  • 4x BSA Wheels –Charlie Bravo machined, lathed and -- ready to race.  Average weight is about 1.7 grams per wheel.  See details below
  • Finish Kit which include, gap gauge, foil tape for covering holes, and #44 drill bit for proper wheel install without damaging your axle slots.

This wheel is straight from the factory. It will  have mold marks.  The new wheel process does not have seams.  Full bead and tread.   The wheels have been sorted for any manufacturing flaws. Inner portion of wheel has been milled to remove weight. Wheel designed for 1.180″ outer tread rules.  See picture for details.  All BSA lettering in tact.
