SHIPPING POLICY

RUBBER MATS, EVA FOAM MATS, CRASH MATS AND RUBBER TILES
Due to size and weight, most mats and tiles are sent through Tuffnells Express on a next day service. Tuffnells aim to deliver all items the next working day and will attempt to deliver only once. Any further delivery attempts will cost 50% of the original P&P fee.
          
Tuffnells will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that delivery suceeds the first time including delivering to your neighbour or leaving in a safe place. If you think you may be away, please notify us of the best day for delivery when you place the order by leaving a note at checkout. This could include details of your preferred neighbour or a safe place

Please ensure that your ebay account contains your mobile or landline number so that the courier can contact you if there are any issues with delivery

METALS & NERF

The bulk of our metal orders are dispatched via Royal Mail 48 service. The Royal Mail website states that Royal Mail 48 items are delivered within 2-5 day in most cases with a small percentage of items taking slightly longer and may take up to 12 days. Please be patient as Royal Mail do not consider parcels lost until after 21 days of posting. We will have to wait at least this amount of time before we can consider a claim. As this is not a guaranteed service, please treat it as a Second Class service and allow extra time for them to arrive. If the item is lost, we will of course provide a full refund or send out a replacement.

RETURNS POLICY

In the unlikely event you wish to return a product, returns will be accepted if notified within 7 days of purchase and item received back within 14 days. Your original payment will be refunded minus the cost of the original postage. If original P&P was free, we will deduct the actual cost of postage.  Returns/refunds are subject to the item/items being received back in the original new and unused condition. All returns must be arranged and paid for by the buyer We recommend an insured and tracked courier as we do not accept liability for damage caused during return transit.

RUBBER ROLLS & TILES

Rubber rolls prior to being removed were laid underneath thick AstroTurf pitches therefore are mostly untouched. However, some pieces may have cuts and/or tears from the removal process there may also be some small patches of dried glue/paint where the astro turf was attached on the mats and dirt/mud/sand, there may be some netting on the bottom. 100% Recycled Product and very environmentally friendly. Also note that the matting is porous to allow drainage. Rubber rolls may contain sand, mud and dirt which can be brushed, vacuumed or pressure washed off. The rolls may also be damp/wet on arrival. Use with plenty of bedding for maximum absorption and longevity. Also muck out regularly when used in stables. The mats can be easily moved out to pressure wash etc to remove urine.  

Cutting and laying: We do not accept returns for shrinking as this is an unavoidable feature of 100% natural rubber. Rubber mats may shrink a few inches depending on temperature, humidity etc. We leave a few inches extra on these mats to account for this. Please bear this in mind before cutting and laying as the mats may shrink slightly over the first few weeks. As with all natural rubber, any tiles need to be allowed to adjust/shrink/expand in the room being installed. We do not provide advice on how to fix these permanently and would recommend the use of professional fitters.

Moving the mats: Please make sure that there are no heavy items on the mat and they are moved by lifting rather than dragging on the floor as the sheer size, weight and friction against the floor may cause rips or tears. 

EVA & FOAM MATS

Mats mat have minor gouges, cuts, scratches etc. from storage or delivery - in the majority of cases the mats arrive in pristine condition but minor defects such as those mentioned will not be accepted as reasons for return. The mats come covered in a white powder for protection during transport and there may be some dirt/dust or damp on the mat from storage. Just wipe down with a cloth before use. Sides may not be perfectly straight however they can easily be cut to size for a perfect fit. All sizes are approximate and may vary by up to 5cm. 

We would recommend putting a cover over the top of these for durability and to keep them all together. We do not provide advice on how to fix these permanently and would recommend the use of professional fitters. 

THICK CRASH MAT

Zip on bottom of these crash mats cannot be opened. Cover may be creased and there may be powder, dust or damp on the surface from storage or transport.

METALS

Returns are only accepted if the items are undersize by 3mm or more than the size ordered.

Due to the nature of the items, however unlikely, there may be superficial rust on some pieces. This does not affect the material and can be wiped down. Rust staining is not a valid reason for returns.
