BSPT (British Pipe Taper) pipe a BS thread standard. The taper/second/plug square end and straight flutes for mainly hand tapping. For metals, mild steel, low alloyed steel, etc. up to 800N/mm2 TS. Fully ground, quality taps. These might be more expensive then others (generally plain carbon steel item) listed on the marketplace but our HSS taps guarantee the expected performance, hassle free and easy job. These tools are not suitable for stainless steel.
