This is a wonderful historical novel of Japan from the author of Madame X.  The book is in good to very good condition;  the cover is fairly clean with moderate shelf wear including scuffing and/or bumping (including a tear at the top of the spine), and a discoloration on the front at spine.  The spine is tight, although cracked at the first title page, and the pages are clear and easily readable with minor fading or yellowing.  There is no dust jacket.  See the photographs.  

This is a wonderul book and it  would be an excellant addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 5-1/4" x 8" x 1-1/4", 306 pages and about 2-3 lbs.+/-  with packaging.
