About the artist: I am Rachel Parker, a self taught artist. I come from a family of artists; my mother is a award-winning portraitist and my father is an award-winning photographer, so art must be in my genes! Ebay has provided me a wonderful venue for my work, and I have met some truly great clients and fellow artists here.

"Giclée" is a French term meaning "spraying of ink." This technique produces a quality print with a lush, velvety finish. Giclée prints are commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and provides incredible detail.
Numerous examples of giclée prints can be found in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Chelsea Galleries. Recent auctions of giclée prints have fetched $10,800 for Annie Leibovitz, $9,600 for Chuck Close, and $22,800 for Wolfgang Tillmans and $23,600 for Rachel Parker (just checking to see if you are reading!!!)

If you would like to make monthly installments on your purchase over $100, please email me before you bid to work out the details of our contract. I will retain the painting until paid in full. If you fail to pay one month and I do not hear from you, our contract will be considered broken, and I will relist the painting and retain all money collected. I will send you a reminder each month. Shipped in a tube if a single print or Giclée is bought. If you purchase an original or more than one print, it will be shipped flat. Shipping: Free in the continental USA (insurance additional) If you would like insurance, please add $2.00 per $100 insured.
If you are an international customer, please note that shipping will be different, depending on where you live. I report all nonpaying bidders to Ebay, not for spite, but to get reimbursed for the commission Ebay takes on successfully completed auctions.
