This card is a 2003 Fleer Authentix Sammy Sosa Game Jersey #JA-SS memorabilia insert featuring the Chicago Cubs slugger. The card includes an embedded jersey swatch and uses the distinctive stadium-ticket-inspired Authentix design. Unlike a standard 2½” × 3½” trading card, the 2003 Authentix Game Jersey cards were produced in a shorter 2½” × 3⅛” format, giving this memorabilia insert a distinctive non-standard size.

Sammy Sosa became one of the most prolific power hitters of his era during his career with the Chicago Cubs. He was a seven-time All-Star, six-time Silver Slugger winner, and the 1998 National League MVP. Sosa hit 609 career home runs, including three seasons with at least 60 home runs, and became one of the defining players of the Cubs during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
