Here's one you won't see often.

Tama Warlord Valkyrie
13" x 6"
13ply 15mm Mapa Burl.
Antique Nickle Hardware and Diecast hoops.
Warlord lugs with Swarovski Crystals inlaid.
Puresound Pro Phosphur Bronze Snare wires.

Tama's absolute top of the range, very limited release from the mid 2000's.

Unbelievably gorgeous shell.
The burl figuring is unreal. Absolutely delicious.
The shell is in truly excellent condition, the only mark is where the rim of the top head has touched the shell, entirely out of sight when built.

I've owned this snare from New, imported from the USA in the mid 2000's.

I played this snare, with absolute glee, for several years, the top hoop shows some wear.
I replaced 2 lugs, as they suffered a breakage.
One of them is a slightly different colour, but I positioned it where it won't be seen easily.
There is some pitting/corrosion on the throw and butt end.

I have taken the fact that it is not in showroom condition into account.

I've never believed in having drums that I cant use, so this warlord has been enjoyed, respectfully and joyfully, everybody that sees or hears it is taken aback by its splendour of both looks and sound. It is, quite frankly, the most beautiful snare I've ever seen.

The drum comes with its original Tama Warlord hardcase, itself exceptionally rare, in good used condition with some marks from touring and general movement. Fully functioning. An excellent quality hardcase. It is exceptionally luxurious inside, the wear and tear is outside, where it should be.

I understand there to have been less than 150 of these made, from my research, and here in the UK I've never seen or heard of another of these.
Not to be confused with the higher number of Maple shelled Valkyries, with the fade finish, this is an entirely different drum, far rarer and dare I say far better.

A true collectors piece.
