True story of Edmund Perry, who was shot dead by a police officer in New York City's Harlem district after he and a friend were alleged to have hassled the officer. Trouble is, Edmund Perry was a brilliant student who had just graduated from one of the top prep schools in the US. So was he a victim of racism or did he really unleash himself in a hidden but homicidal rage, due to the pressures and prejudices of his predominantly white prep school. His friend is determined to get at the truth.
