RARE ORIGINAL 1976 SPALDING OFFICIAL AMERICAN LEAGUE 12-BALL Empty BOX with Lee MacPhail facsimile signature .

One Year only - Offered is an original 1976 Spalding Official American League 12-ball Empty box.

1976 is especially significant to collectors: it was the first, final, and only year that the Spalding name/logo appeared on an Official American League baseball. Spalding replaced the Reach logo for the 1976 season, before Rawlings took over the American League baseball in 1977.

This is the original 12-ball box ONLY — it is EMPTY and contains NO baseballs.

Condition

The top has come detached from the rest of box but would still hold baseballs and in my opinion would be an easy cosmetic fix.

The box has bright, strong original colors and remains sturdy and displayable for its age. It does have vintage wear, including a couple of of tears and other signs of age and handling. Please examine all photos carefully for the condition.

A great vintage baseball display piece and an interesting collectible for anyone interested in Spalding, American League baseball history, 1970s baseball memorabilia, or vintage baseball packaging.
