Preprocessing Settings：
When you use the 4040 reverse osmosis membrane, please do the pretreatment, you can install the front PP cotton and activated carbon cartridge, to protect your RO membrane from particles, residual chlorine, organic damage.Regular maintenance: Replace the pre-filter cartridge (PP cotton, activated carbon) every 3-6 months to avoid the accumulation of pollutants leading to membrane clogging

- The optimum operating pressure for ulp-4040 reverse osmosis membranes is 150 psi, the maximum pressure is 600 psi, the appropriate pressure will help to improve the service life of the membrane. Secondly, different temperatures also have a great impact on the desalination rate and water production, the best temperature for reverse osmosis membrane is 25°C, when the temperature rises, the water production will increase but the desalination rate will be relatively lower, when the temperature decreases, the water production will be reduced but the desalination rate will increase.
- When the recovery rate is 15%, which will allow your reverse osmosis membrane to perform at its best
- Flushing operation: Flush the membrane for more than 30 minutes after the first installation or long-term disuse; manually flush the membrane for 10 minutes after each replacement of the filter element.
- Water pressure requirement: the inlet water pressure should be ≥0.2MPa (about 2kg), when the pressure is insufficient, install a booster pump.
- Impact of water temperature: the best water temperature 25 ℃, every 1 ℃ lower, the water production decreased by about 3%
