Up for auction is a phenomenal, matching set of the 1998 Microsoft Cordless Phone System (Model MP900/MP900A) featuring a factory Clear Plastic / Translucent Shell on BOTH the Handset and the Base Station.

While the retail versions released in October 1998 were standard beige, this rare pairing features a completely see-through transparent housing, showcasing the internal green circuit boards, microchips, and hardware layouts. This was almost certainly an Engineering Prototype / Pre-production Evaluation Set utilized by Microsoft hardware developers prior to the commercial product launch. Complete clear sets like this are nearly impossible to find.
