Sonja Henie
(1901-1969) She was a Norwegian skater and actress. She won
Norway's skating championship at 14 and became World Champion
at 15, winning three consecutive Gold Medals setting world marks in
three Winter Olympics in 1928, 1932, and 1936. She went on to
Hollywood to a successful screen career. Known as an astute
businesswoman who could drive a hard bargain, she was called
"The Iron Butterfly" and was one of the wealthiest women in
the world when she died of leukemia. Stunning vintage
