Nicola Werner's studio is in Taunton Somerset. She trained at Aldermaston with Alan Caiger-Smith. Her work is in European majolica and this little jug is a good example. She has been potting since the early 90s.
It is completely as it left the pottery free from flaws and damage. 11cm tall and 9cm across the belly. A cleverly curved handle with a scroll at the base. The base glaze is a pearl grey inside and out, with a painted decoration of leaves and berries in blue green and red.
