Antique Swedish Silver & Enamel Souvenir Spoon – Royal Portrait – c.1900

A charming antique Swedish silver souvenir spoon, dating from around the early 20th century.

The spoon has a decorative twisted stem with moulded detailing, terminating in a crowned shield-shaped enamel plaque depicting a crowned female royal figure against a vivid blue background.

The piece carries the Swedish three-crowns silver control mark, together with an additional small maker’s or control mark to the stem.

The reverse of the enamel plaque is gold-toned, adding to the decorative appearance.

A very attractive piece of Scandinavian souvenir silver with strong royal and enamel interest.
