⚠️ Check Your Factory Radio Before Ordering
The VWX6S2 fits many Volkswagen, Skoda and SEAT vehicles, but vehicle model and year alone do not confirm compatibility.
Different factory radios were fitted to the same vehicle depending on year, trim and equipment.
Please compare your original factory radio with the compatibility images before purchasing.
Compatibility can still depend on the exact dashboard and vehicle configuration.
⚠️ Some Vehicles Require an Additional Installation Kit
If your original factory radio matches one of the examples shown under “Installation Kit Needed” in the listing images, the VWX6S2 can require a vehicle-specific installation kit.
The installation kit is not included unless specifically stated in your selected package.
Please check your original radio shape carefully before ordering so you can prepare the correct installation parts.
⚠️ Incompatible Factory Radio Configurations
The VWX6S2 is not suitable if your original factory radio matches one of the configurations shown under “Inapplicable Models” in the listing images.
If your vehicle uses one of these configurations, please do not purchase the VWX6S2 as a direct vehicle-specific replacement.
A compatible universal Double DIN stereo with the appropriate vehicle-specific installation kit may be an alternative.
Keep Supported VW Group Factory Functions
The vehicle-specific interface is designed to retain selected original functions on compatible vehicles.
Depending on your vehicle configuration, supported functions include:
- Steering wheel controls*
- Dynaudio audio system
- Fender audio system
- Vehicle / driving information
- Door-open reminder
- Parking sensor information
- Reversing guidelines
- Climate / A/C information
- CANBUS vehicle integration
*The original voice recognition button is not supported.
Factory equipment varies between VW, Skoda and SEAT models, so retention of individual functions depends on the original vehicle configuration.
Factory Backup Camera – A501 Required
If your vehicle has an original factory reversing camera and you want to retain it after installing the VWX6S2, the optional:
Eonon A501 Factory Camera Decoder
is required.
A501 is sold separately unless specifically included in your selected package.
Without the required A501 decoder, the compatible original factory camera cannot be retained through this installation.
If your vehicle does not have an OEM reversing camera, the A501 is not required.
Android 13 + Qualcomm Performance
Powered by the Qualcomm QCM6225-AD 6nm platform, the VWX6S2 provides the performance needed for navigation, music and compatible Android apps.
- 8-Core CPU: 4×A73 up to 2.8GHz + 4×A53 up to 1.9GHz
- Adreno 610 GPU
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB internal storage
- 1-second fast boot supported
- OTA firmware updates
- Split-screen multitasking
Run compatible functions such as navigation and music side by side without constantly switching between screens.
Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your compatible smartphone and access commonly used functions directly from the stereo.
Use compatible:
- Navigation
- Music
- Calls
- Messages
- Siri
- Google Assistant
Both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, giving you the choice between cable-free convenience and a wired connection.
9" QLED HD Touchscreen
The 9-inch QLED display gives navigation, media, vehicle information and compatible camera images more viewing space than many original factory radios.
- 1280×720 HD resolution
- 178° wide viewing angle
- Anti-glare design
- Capacitive touchscreen
- Day / night brightness adjustment
The vehicle-specific fascia integrates the larger display into compatible VW Group dashboards without relying on a floating universal-screen design.
ROHM 48-Band DSP + ST TDA7851 Amplifier
The VWX6S2 combines ROHM digital signal processing with an ST TDA7851 amplifier for more detailed audio adjustment.
Audio features include:
- ROHM DSP
- 48-band EQ
- Time alignment
- Multiple EQ presets
- Subwoofer control
- ST TDA7851 amplifier
- 25W RMS manufacturer-rated power
- Up to 4×48W amplifier output
- 5-channel preamp output
For upgraded systems, the stereo also provides 4 RCA outputs plus optical and coaxial digital outputs for compatible aftermarket amplifiers and subwoofers.
Compatible with Supported Dynaudio & Fender Systems
The VWX6S2 supports compatible factory Dynaudio and Fender audio systems.
This allows suitably equipped vehicles to retain integration with supported factory premium audio configurations.
Because factory amplifier and wiring arrangements vary between vehicles, please confirm your original audio system before ordering.
Built-In GPS Navigation
Use the built-in GPS receiver with compatible offline navigation maps, or connect to the internet for supported services such as Google Maps and Waze.
Offline navigation allows route guidance without continuous mobile data, while an internet connection enables supported traffic information and other connected services.
4G LTE + Wi-Fi 6 Connectivity
Insert a compatible SIM card to give the stereo its own mobile data connection for supported navigation, streaming and Android applications.
Connectivity includes:
- Built-in 4G LTE
- 2.4GHz / 5GHz Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi 6 ready
- Bluetooth 5.1 with external antenna
- Split-screen multitasking
A SIM card is not required for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio or GPS reception.
4G compatibility depends on the regional version, mobile carrier and supported LTE bands.
Wireless Screen Mirroring
The VWX6S2 supports wireless screen mirroring with compatible iPhone and Android devices.
Supported smartphone content can be displayed on the 9" QLED screen.
Availability depends on the phone, operating system and individual app.
DRM-protected services may restrict video playback or screen mirroring.
