You're bidding on a cool, vintage machine age desk or table lamp - appears to be heavy bronze on black plinth base - base is 13" X 5", shade is 15" wide and stands about 10" tall. Form is sort of a bronze crescent anchored to the base and rising up to support a long curved shade and bulb hardware. Large blocky shade screws add to the industrial appearance.

Note no manufacturer's marks or labels - very similar to designs produced by early modernist Gilbert Rohde, but I have not found an exact matching example.

NOTE, lamp does have some issues of condition - mainly, some pitting/spotting in spots, and some verde gris along the bottom of lamp where is meets the base. Some spotting to the black marble base as well a a small ding at one corner. I personally prefer the aged patina so I have not polished. SOLD AS IS AS FOUND.

That said, a unique statement piece - lamp is in working order, as is the cord switch. Please review photos carefully to make your own determination of condition and appeal, and don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to bidding - thanks for looking!
