Description

20 Pc Carburetor Jet Drill Set – Selected Sizes .35mm to 1.80mm

This 20-piece factory resharpened solid carbide micro drill set includes a carefully selected range of small drill sizes for carburetor jet checking, matching, cleaning, and controlled resizing work.

Designed for small carburetor and fuel-metering applications where the required jet orifice diameter is known.

The set covers selected sizes from 0.35 mm through 1.80 mm (.0138"–.0709") and includes an actual 1/16" (.0625" / 1.5875 mm) drill.

Good Choice For

  • Small-engine carburetor work
  • Motorcycle and scooter carburetors
  • ATV, kart, go-kart, and RC applications
  • Main and pilot jet work where the actual bore diameter is known
  • Other small fuel-metering openings and precision drilling applications

Factory Resharpened Solid Carbide

These are not new drills. They are professional-grade solid carbide micro drills that have been factory resharpened for continued precision use.

The full 1/8" shanks provide substantially greater rigidity than lightweight wire-style hobby drill assortments.

Important Carburetor Jet Information

Carburetor jet numbers do not always correspond directly to the physical bore diameter, and numbering systems can vary by manufacturer and jet series.

Verify the actual diameter required before drilling.

Drilling a jet is a permanent modification. Increase the opening gradually. Fuel flow may also be affected by the shape, length, entry, exit, and finish of the metering passage, not only its diameter.

Use Note

Solid carbide is extremely hard and wear resistant, but it is also brittle. Use a pin vise, drill press, milling machine, micro-drill fixture, or other controlled holder that keeps the drill straight.

Avoid side pressure, bending, or forcing the drill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these new drills?
No. They are factory resharpened solid carbide drills.

Is this a continuous numbered-drill set?
No. This set contains 20 deliberately selected sizes from approximately .0138" through .0709".

Why is 1/16" included instead of 1.60 mm?
This set includes an actual 1/16" (.0625" / 1.5875 mm) drill rather than representing it as an exact 1.60 mm drill.

Will this set work with every carburetor?
Not necessarily. Carburetor jet systems vary. Compare the required orifice diameter with the included size list before purchasing.

Can these be used by hand?
Yes, carefully in a pin vise or other controlled holder. Keep the drill straight and avoid side loading.
