The DVI-3580A is a 1U professional AV presentation switcher, scaler and MultiViewer designed for conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, houses of worship and other installed AV systems. It accepts HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA/component sources and can display up to four inputs at once in seven selectable layouts. Outputs are mirrored over HDMI and HDBaseT, with audio embedding/de-embedding, EDID management and control by LAN, RS-232, IR or the front panel. This used unit was tested before listing and worked properly during testing.

Before you put it into service

• Before installation, verify the required input/output resolution, HDCP version and cabling for the source and display devices in your system.
• Review the DVIGear documentation for EDID, audio routing, MultiViewer layout and output-resolution settings before commissioning the unit.
• The HDBaseT jack carries AV + POH and must connect only to compatible HDBaseT equipment; do not confuse it with the separate LAN control port.
• For LAN control, DVIGear documentation lists a factory-default IP of 192.168.100.100 with DHCP disabled, but a used unit may have different stored network settings. Seamless switching is limited to Single Window Layout mode.
