Andy Warhol Original Lithograph (Bodley Gallery Announcement) 'Studies for a Boy Book'

This lithographic gallery announcement created by Andy Warhol in 1956 comes directly from the artist’s estate. On Valentine's Day in 1956, Warhol opened an exhibition at Bodley Gallery titled, "Studies for a Boy Book." This original invitation to the 1956 exhibition illustrates how central Warhol’s open expression of his queer identity was to his career. The lithograph is featured in the book, "Andy Warhol. Love, Sex, and Desire," published by TASCHEN. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a lithograph from Warhol’s personal collection.

Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts. Since its inception in 1987, The Andy Warhol Foundation has been a stalwart advocate for freedom of expression, supporting work that is experimental and challenging in nature and from communities that have been historically marginalized.
