A beautiful and highly collectible vintage Soviet toy automobile modeled after the famous GAZ-12 ZIM luxury limousine.
This large metal toy was produced in the USSR and is an impressive miniature interpretation of one of the most prestigious Soviet automobiles of the post-war era.
The toy features a fascinating mechanical remote-control system operated by a flexible shaft. The original hand controller is connected to the rear of the automobile. By turning the crank, the car can move forward and backward, while the steering mechanism allows the front wheels to turn.
The mechanism is working smoothly.
The car has a very attractive blue / sky-blue finish, complemented by silver-colored trim, detailed grille, bumpers, headlights, whitewall-style tires and an ivory steering wheel.
The paint appears to have been professionally restored at some point in the past. The restoration was done to a high standard and gives the car a beautiful display appearance while preserving its vintage character.
