I am selling this painted hollowed hardwood didgeridoo. The grain would suggest oak. It has been stained to accentuate the grain and it is painted black at both end ends. It has a milliput mouthpiece which can be enlarged.
See short video clips of the instrument being played.
Good for traditional/ contemporary playing styles.
It should not be mistaken for the mass produced, cheap and inferior Indonesian teak and bamboo instruments which currently are flooding the market place.
The starting price is low for the quality of instrument on offer. It gives someone the chance to own a quality didgeridoo.
The successful Bidder also gets a playing guide and if close to Heathfield then I will give he/ she a free 45 minute lesson to get you going on playing this wonderful instrument.
Length: 131 cm approx.
Distal: 6cm
Mouthpiece: 28mm (milliput)
Weight: 2.1kg
It plays in the key of approximately E with a G overtone. It is a measured player and has good back pressure.
A didgeridoo is living wood and as such, it should not be left in the sun or next to radiators and the like.
Now for the boring but essential part of the bid.
Postage is £11.35 ParcelForce 48. I will send the didge within the UK Zone 1 (this includes VAT, packaging and transport to the carrier's offices). Buyer pays postage and packaging for Zones outside UK Zone 1. The Buyer is responsible for any customs fees, taxes, etc.
The successful Bidder can also pickup if local to the area.
This auction is for United Kingdom buyers only.
In the event that the item should be returned then the cost of postage and packaging is the responsibility of the Buyer and any refund is on the premise that the instrument is returned in the condition it was sold in. Please think carefully about returning the item as 1) the cost of postage and 2) eBay fees will be deducted and then you need to consider your postage costs fully insured to the value of the item plus packaging. I always take detailed photographs of items before dispatch.
I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of the item in the post and the purchaser is strongly recommended to take out insurance.
I will ensure the instrument is packed well, concentrating on the ends which are susceptible to damage.
Please do not bid if you do not intend on paying in the event you are the winner.
Good luck with bidding. I have sold numerous didgeridoos on eBay with 100% feedback.
Happy Bidding!!
