D.R.P. stands for Deutsches Reichs-Patent (German Empire Patent), an official patent designation used in Germany prior to 1945. 

These 1920s Art Deco pieces feature sleek, minimalist chrome-plated or silver-plated metal handles with a sliding sheath that conceals two parallel steel prongs of slightly different lengths.

The two prongs slide down both sides of a cork without piercing it, making them ideal for extracting fragile or aged corks intact
