An early Carl Zeiss Dialyt 10x40 B binocular dating to the mid-1970s. This is the textured black, pre-T* version of the model, fitted with central focusing, adjustable interpupillary distance and rubber eyecups. The binoculars and case are both marked “Made in West Germany”.

In used vintage condition with surface wear and marks consistent with age. From what I can see, the optical glass is clean inside but might need a good clean outside, as photographed. The leather neck strap has wear, splitting and deterioration around the attachment areas. The fitted case has general surface wear, minor marks and tarnishing to the metal fittings. Please refer to the photographs for full condition.
