You're bidding on an antique folding map - "Plan Of Detroit By John Mullett 1830" - roughly 16" X 20" size. Appears an early edition as it's engraved - and originally bound in a book based on the bump-out on the left side margin. A great early view of the city's downtown from the Grand Circus to Detroit River's edge. Important public buildings and points of interest - many of which no longer exist - are indexed at left and depicted by illustration within the map. Also of interest are boundaries - the city is bound in by huge farm tracts at left and right.

Condition very good for age and type - there is a faint line of toning through the top of the map from exposure to the bottom of the map while folded up - otherwise, super clean and appears as though it was nevere previously opened up.

Please review photos carefully to make your own determination of condition and appeal, and don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to bidding - thanks for looking!
