BROMPTON H6L 2020 – TEMPEST BLUE – 6 SPEED + REAR RACK – ONE OWNER, ONE SEASON'S USE

Genuine Brompton H6L bought new from Brompton in May 2020. Proof of purchase and the frame number available to view at collection – bring the BikeRegister app if you want to check it on the spot. Ridden through the summer and autumn of 2020, then stored indoors at room temperature ever since – so a six-year-old bike with a few months of actual use.

SPEC

• H-type (high) handlebars – the upright, relaxed riding position

• 6-speed: 3-speed Sturmey Archer hub + 2-speed derailleur (the wide-range "Explore" gearing)

• Tempest Blue (matt navy) frame, 16" wheels, mudguards

• Brompton rear rack with rollers fitted (an upgrade over the standard L spec – the bike rolls along on all four rollers when folded)

• Cork grips fitted; the original black Brompton grips are included, unused since removal

• USB-rechargeable rear light mounted under the saddle; bell; folding left pedal

• Today's equivalent (C Line Explore, high handlebar, with rack) is £1,557 new

CONDITION – please look at every photo, they form the description

Paintwork and BROMPTON decals clean and bright; no dents or paint chips found on the main frame or rear triangle. Folds and unfolds correctly – see the fully folded and half-folded photos. Chain, chainring and tensioner clean with no rust visible; tyres have plenty of tread. Saddle unmarked. Light scuff marks on the chrome seatpost around the clamp area (photo 14) and scuffs to the alloy cage of the right pedal (photo 15) – cosmetic only.
