Complete Vinyl Decal/Pin Striping Set for 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 Z1-R (D3) - Black model ---- If you're planning on a restoration of your faded KZ, here's your chance to restore your classic bike to looking like when it was originally new. 

NOTE: The 1980 Z1-R D3 model has a larger fuel tank than the 1978 D1 model. Some of the later model Z1-R bikes may have been fitted with the smaller fuel tank from an earlier model. Identifying which tank you have is simple. The "correct" standard tank for the 1980 Z1-R D3 has a raised fuel cap that sits higher than the top of the fuel tank. The smaller tank from the earlier Z1-R D1 has a fuel cap that is almost flush with the top of the tank. We also offer pin-stripe sets for the smaller fuel tank if needed....contact us for more information if needed.

NOTE: Stripes must be overlapped and joined as originally done by the manufacturer.

These OEM style vinyl decals were "meticulously" designed to look and work exactly as the Factory originally intended.  Although these vinyl decals do not need to be clear coated, we highly recommend doing so as the life span will be significantly increased.  Use only a high quality PPG or BASF automotive type clear coat paint for longest lasting protection. 

Processing Time:  To maintain maximum freshness, all of our complete decal/pin striping sets are "made-to-the-order" only and requires approx. 2 weeks to manufacture before shipping.  However, you will be guaranteed to receive a much superior product than other inferior sets which I've seen in the marketplace.  Please do not bid in the event you need them quicker.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.  You will not be disappointed!
