I’m trusting AI on this one. I couldn’t find anything about this until I asked AI. It definitively said this was the short lived Redwood Pioneers MiLB team of the California League that existed from 1980-1985. The colors do match as do the name. There isn’t much memorabilia from that team around, I couldn’t find any examples of warm up jackets, etc.

As to #7, it’s either T.R. Bryden or Ron Sylvia who both had short stops on the Pioneers.

The jacket is from an estate of a guy who had multiple collectibles. Most of the baseball stuff was gone when I got there, but this was stuffed in the closet. It smells like it’s been in a closet for a while. Not unpleasant. But not fresh. It doesn’t appear to have any flaws though. The collars and sleeves even appear free of any discoloration (which with these old track jackets, is kinda hard to do).
