Sterling Silver Vesta Case Match Safe Samuel M Levi Birmingham 1902
Item Details
This Edwardian sterling silver vesta case was made by Samuel M. Levi and hallmarked at Birmingham for 1902. Of cushion form, it is engraved to both sides with a dense all-over design of ivy leaves and star motifs enclosed within a dotted border. A small monogram panel is engraved to one corner. The case is fitted with a hinged lid, suspension ring and retains its original serrated striker to the base. The interior shows the expected darkening associated with age and use. It is in good antique condition overall, with general surface wear, light scratches and small marks consistent with age. The interior displays oxidation and wear, the striker remains well defined, and the hinge is sound with the lid closing securely. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
Returns are handled in line with eBay policy and the returns setting on this listing.
