A pair of light stoneware goblets from the Corris Craft Centre Quarry Pottery in Machynlleth North Wales. The pottery has operated since 1982 and it is likely that these goblets are from its early output.

The decoration is said to mimic the local Snowdonia landscape, and these certainly look like they are showing an abstract of the local heather and bracken. They are rather beautiful.

No chips cracks or crazing in fact no damage of any kind, even the glaze bubbles are small and rare.

13cm tall, 8.5cm across the slightly flared rim and 6.5cm across the base.
Pottery stamp under the glaze.
