I ve read that Jill Pryke's work has been described as serene. I can see why by handling this bowl.
It has been made with love and great attention to detail.
It is a perfect little flower shape with the stamens and anthers carefully reproduced at the bottom of the bowl. What a great idea.

This one is near perfect, no chips cracks scratches and no crazing. One splodge in the glaze 9 o'clock in the main photo

A neutral lustre glaze over the outer surfaces and a mid blue lustre inside.

The earthenware is a deep red.

It is incised JP on the base.

Jill  retired from potting in 2025 having started in the 1960's. Her work is therefore finite making this a great opportunity for a collector.

19cm across the lip, 6cm in height, 8.5cm across the base.
