“Pygmy Railroad Does Giant’s Work”. A look back at the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, a 15-inch gauge railroad working the granite quarry in Cumberland, England. It was also the only means of transportation to local residents in the area, and hauled coal, food, mail, and all their supplies.
