Vintage Book of Knowledge Eagle & Eaglets Cast Iron Mechanical Coin Bank.

Classic mechanical design featuring a large eagle with spread wings feeding two eaglets in the nest. When activated, the eagle moves forward toward the eaglets as part of the coin-depositing action.

Heavy cast iron construction with painted details. The underside is clearly marked “Reproduced From Original In Collection Of The Book Of Knowledge” and “Pat. Jan. 23, 1883.”

This is a Book of Knowledge reproduction of the famous J. & E. Stevens Eagle & Eaglets mechanical bank design, not an original 1880s example.
