WWI Feldpost 1915 Card 81. Gem. Ersatz-Brigade Briefstempel Thiaucourt France

  

WWI German military Feldpost card (Feldpostkarte) written in Thiaucourt (Meurthe-et-Moselle, France) on April 28, 1915, and dispatched via field post on April 29, 1915. The front side features a well-struck, clear double-ring circular date stamp from K.D.Feldpostexp. 10. Ersatz-Div. dated 29.4.15. It also bears a crisp purple circular military unit cachet (Briefstempel) from the 81. Gem. Ersatz-Brigade. The sender details specify Gefreiter Kurt Taege serving in the 1. Kompagnie, Ersatz-Regiment 40 (under the 81st Mixed Ersatz Brigade). The card is addressed to Braunschweig.
