Stunning vintage Bobbie Brooks 100% wool A-line mini skirt in a rich cherry red. This has a great mod/early-1960s silhouette with a high waist, structured waistband, front button closure, and two oversized rounded patch pockets with button accents.
The skirt is marked size 7 and features a vintage ILGWU (International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union) union label, indicating it was union made in the USA. The union label is an especially useful dating clue and adds vintage/collector appeal.
The fabric label indicates 100% wool with an acetate back/lining detail. It also has the original Bobbie Brooks label and "Dry Clean Only" care instruction.
Era: I estimate mid-to-late 1960s, approximately 1964–1970. The ILGWU label shown is the older blue/white style rather than the patriotic red-white-blue version introduced in 1974.
