I have relisted this car due two the highest bidder cancelling at the last minute and the winning bidder saying it is too far to travel and collect, if so why bid in the first place?  I am listing as Spares or Repair but there is absolutely nothing mechanically wrong with it. However it needs a replacement front bumper and a good polishing to transform its looks.
I bought this A class as a general run around for me, amongst other uses it has been used to take garden rubbish to the recycling centre often several times a week during the summer and autumn. I have used it for collecting parts for my MGB that I am restoring often 400 mile round trips, it has been the most reliable work horse that I have ever owned. I bought it two years ago looking very much like it does now, obviously the previous owner had a minor bump on the front (not recorded) and fitted another bumper with holes for parking sensors which the car doesn't have! You can see that there is duct tape helping to support the bumper but it was like that when I bought it. There are areas of faded paintwork, poor respraying (bonnet) I have tried to show all of the defects, since we also have a much newer Mercedes for other journeys  these cosmetic bits don't bother me at all, what is more important is that the car is reliable. In the last two years and 20,000 miles it has needed just one ball joint and a bonnet catch adjustment for the MOT, the only breakdown was a puncture. The tyres are good with plenty of life in them. The engine uses no oil between services and gives over 60mpg if you stick to 70 MPH on the motorway. If it is so good then why am I selling it? The answer is my wife, she has recently realised it's a great little car for shopping in town and it uses half the fuel that her petrol C class uses. What she hasn't discovered is that it is great on long journeys as well, 70mph is just 2200 engine RPM and is quiet and surprisingly comfortable BUT she wants a tidier looking one if she is going to drive it regularly! What am I replacing it with? I have bought an identical 2012 A class 180 CDI  which is one of the last ones made, these manual gearbox cars are far more reliable than the autos which are very expensive to repair when they go wrong (which they do). A hundred pounds on a second hand bumper and a good buffing of the paintwork will transform the looks, I would do it but I am pre occupied with the MG which I want to finish before the winter You are welcome to come and test drive it, contact me on 07923488842

SOMEONE NOTICED THAT THE PHOTO OF THE DASHBOARD SHOWED THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT WAS ON. THIS WAS ONLY BECAUSE ITOOK THE PHOTO WITH THE IGNITION ON BUT WITHOUT THE ENGINE RUNNING. I HAVE DELETED THAT PHOTO AND ADDED ANOTHER AT THE END SHOWING THE DASHBOARD WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, THE HEADLIGHTS AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED DUE TO IT BEING A GLOOMY DAY AND BEING PARKED IN A BUILDING. AS I HAVE SAID IN THE DESCRIPTION THIS CAR RUNS PERFECTLY.
