Wonderful whimsical studio art pottery wall pocket or small wall planter featuring an expressive sculptural face.

The piece has a matte blue exterior with exaggerated facial features, curled brows/hair and long sweeping horn-like flourishes extending from either side. The unglazed/terracotta-colored interior shows the handmade nature of the pottery.

An impressed artist/maker's mark is present inside, although the maker has not been identified.

There is an opening on the back for hanging.
