Our client's antique (late 19th century) French centerpiece has a large oval shaped glass bowl finely cut with diamond and shell motifs, and engraved with floral designs on the sides, and a gilt bronze frame with neoclassical female masks at the handles, and four legs ending in scrolling feet with garland swags, and mounted on a white marble plinth with bronze beaded design and rosettes. 19 1/4 by 10 1/4 by 9 3/4 inches.
Apparently unsigned. Possibly from Baccarat.
Rubbing wear to the gilt surfaces, slight bends, scuffs and scratches and small losses to the marble, and the glass in excellent condition.
Our client has these for sale in his gallery in New York. Prior to using "Buy it Now" please contact us to check availability. Thank you.
