DOO-WOP - RHYTHM & BLUES - BLUES REPRO - 45 RPM

THESE  LISTINGS FEATURE SOME EXCELLENT DOO-WOP, RHYTHM & BLUES AND BLUES 45's. THEY ARE DIFFICULT OR NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS ORIGINAL PRESSINGS. WHEN AVAILABLE, THE ORIGINALS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE, OFTEN IN THE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. EVEN 78 COPIES HAVE GOTTEN DIFFICULT TO FIND AND EXPENSIVE. MANY ARE "OLD" REPROS, PRESSED IN THE SEVENTIES...NOW FIFTY YEARS OLD!

CONDITION IS NEAR MINT OR MINT. THEY ARE SINGLE COPIES FROM MY COLLECTION AND WERE PURCHASED NEW. THEY HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY PLAYED A COUPLE TIMES, AND STORED IN A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT.

CONDITION:  M-  MINT MINUS

STANDARD 45 RPM GRADING:

M-       Mint Minus (Near Mint)  Highest grade used. Has full or nearly full luster. Little or no sign of play, handling or storage marks. Probably only played a couple of times, very carefully.  Highly desirable condition.

VG++  Very Good Plus Plus (Excellent).   Most luster remains. Some indications of careful play. Has some mild groove wear. Generally, free from scratches or scuffs.  Very desirable condition.

VG+    Very Good Plus.   Still some decent luster. Shows moderate groove wear.  May have some minor scuffs and/or light scratches. Still a nice "above average" record, acceptable to most collectors. Do not be afraid of my VG+ grade, they are still nice records.

VG      Very Good.    Obvious groove wear with mostly, or fully grey grooves. Scuffs and/or scratches of an "average" used record. Often plays better than it looks.

VG-     Very Good Minus. Record shows heavy use, deeper grey, more scuffs and scratches. Plays with more surface noise but should play through.

G        Good.  Good enough to probably play through. A beat record that could skip, looks bad and is noisy.

SPLIT GRADE (like VG++ / VG+ ) indicates the record has a different grade on each side).
