Very unusual GEMINI “Tween Light” LED music light, dated August 2005.

This is a great decorative piece with a strong Space Age / futuristic / retro electronic design. The black rectangular body has a mirrored front with six spherical light elements, creating multiple reflections and a very distinctive optical effect.

The lamp has 8 lighting modes, selected by repeatedly pressing the rear switch:

1. Red light

2. Green light

3. Blue light

4. Red / Green / Blue – slow color change

5. Red / Green / Blue – fast color change

6. Red / Green / Blue – flashing mode

7. Multi-color flashing mode

8. Sound / music reactive mode

The most interesting feature is the 8th mode. In this setting the lamp reacts to surrounding sound and music, and the illuminated spheres flash and change according to the rhythm, speed and frequencies of the music. A simple early-2000s concept, but today it has a wonderfully retro-futuristic character.

The mirrored front multiplies the glowing spheres visually and makes the light especially attractive in a dark room.

Condition:

Vintage used condition with visible signs of age and use, including surface wear and marks, particularly around the edges of the mirrored front. Please carefully examine all photographs, as they form an important part of the description.

The lamp has been tested and is working. The different color modes and sound-reactive music mode operate.
