Description: A very elegant English Antique Edwardian Britannia Standard solid silver tea caddy canister, which comes in the Queen Anne style having an oval gadrooned shaped body with a slide out cover to the underneath and with a round pull off lid and standing on a flat base. The tea caddy hasn't been personalised with a presentation inscription, initials, monograms, family crest marks or anything erased. The tea caddy is made from Britannia standard silver which is 95.84% which is a higher quality of solid sterling silver. A fabulous high quality example made of a thick gauge of solid sterling silver and weighs a lovely 274 grams. It's from the early King Edward VII period and is of 123 years of age. A gorgeous example of splendid quality which is ready to be added to your collection. A very fine clean example.

Condition report: The tea caddy is in excellent clean condition with no dents, dings, holes, splits or repairs. The slide out cover and pull off lid are both in excellent condition and fit tightly to the body with no play. All borders are perfectly in shape with no dents, damage and stands perfectly well on display with no wobble. The interior of the body is in excellent very clean condition with no stains or marks. An all original example with each section of the tea caddy clearly hallmarked and very readable with no wear or rubbing issues. An outstanding and highly unusual example which is ready to be added to your collection. A fabulous clean example of splendid quality.
