Vintage sterling silver bolo tie featuring a substantial rectangular silver slide with ornate leaf, scroll and applied decorative work.

The centerpiece is set with two large oval cabochons, one displaying golden-brown tones and the other darker brown tones. The stones have attractive depth and flashes of color depending on the lighting. The stones have not been professionally identified or tested and are being sold as unknown stones/material.

The back of the silver slide is clearly stamped STERLING.

The bolo is fitted with a vintage metal slide mechanism marked “BENNETT PAT. PEND C-31” and has a brown braided cord with sterling silver/metal end pieces.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE: One of the end pieces is missing the small round decorative piece/ball from the tip. The other end piece still has its round end piece intact. Please see the photos closely for the exact condition.

The decorative silver portion measures approximately 2 inches tall by 1¼ inches wide based on the photographs. Please refer to the measurement photos for overall dimensions.

This is a vintage/pre-owned piece and shows age-related wear including scratches, tarnish, oxidation, discoloration and surface wear. The patina has been left intact and the piece has not been aggressively polished.

No definitive silversmith or maker attribution has been established. The Bennett marking refers to the bolo slide mechanism and should not be interpreted as the maker of the sterling silver centerpiece.
