PURE SILK 90cm Large Square Scarf Head Neck Wrap Red Black Geometric Bandana
A striking early design with bold geometric colours, rich, vibrant and wonderfully vintage. One of my favourites~
Made from 10 momme sand washed silk twill, exceptionally soft with a beautifully fluid drape, simply irresistible to touch.
Only two pieces and both are WITH SMALL DEFECTS:
This is very early stock, and unfortunately all remaining pieces have some defects. The price has been specially reduced to reflect these issues. Please purchase only if you are comfortable with the following:
1/ Some light yellow dye stains - there is an area of light yellowish dye stains (circled in red in the 3rd and 2nd last photos);
2/ Some loose section in hand rolled hem as shown in the 2nd last photo (circled in green);
3/ some light fabric defects as circled in green in the last photo;
4/ For a large pure silk scarf, some other tiny dye defects or fabric defects are always possible, but they won't be visible when you wear the scarf. Also, the hand rolled hem can never be perfectly straight.
The price has been reduced due to those small problems. It's probably not good as a gift and please only buy when you are OK with those small defects, thanks :)
FABRIC: 100% Pure Silk (10 momme silk twill)
(Silk Twill has a lustrous pearl appearance and fabulous draping aspect. Twill silk combines the utilitarian strength of the twill weave with the natural strength of silk, thus with excellent durability.)
Size: 90cm X 90cm or 35"x35"
(The fabric is 90cm square, but can be a bit smaller as a scarf due to the hem, around 87cm square as a scarf)

CARE: Dry clean or Cold water gentle wash.
Silk is always delicate fabric, so please be careful with your jewellery or bags.
I hand wash all my silk scarves. Please soak in cold water no more than 3 minutes, use silk/wool special detergent, gently rinse, lay or hang out flat to dry. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
A bit colour losing in the water is normal due to the natural dyeing process of silk fabric.
SHIPPING: All items are based in Sydney and will be delivered by Australia Post. I will post out within 2 working days.
