![]() Decent Starter MouthpieceHere we have a Rico Royal B5 baritone saxophone mouthpiece, the tip opening measures 0.095-inch/2.41mm which is a great tip opening for medium strength baritone reeds. The Rico Royal mouthpieces were, and still are, a very common cheap mouthpiece for saxophone or clarinet to pick up. They are made from plastic, have flat sidewalls, their baffle is rolled with a bit of a step at the beginning, and they play kind of bright and project fairly easily. Anyone new to bari that doesn't have a mouthpiece already would find get a decent start out of this until they progress a bit. Not a piece for professionals unless it's truly a pinch and you're a doubler. Unfortunately the rails and table are marked up with some scratches and indentations, some material was added to it to correct but it doesn't look like a pro did the work. The mouthpiece seems to play with a bit of stuffiness. The beak has some teeth marks towards the tip, and some indentations towards the body, the Rico Royal Label is faded a bit, but the 'B5' facing still has very good guilding in it still. We will ship this mouthpiece with the cap and ligature in the photos. Tip Opening Measurement: 0.095-inch/2.41mm Please feel free to ask any other questions by calling or email us from our website.
