Wedgwood Poppaea Sabina Black Basalt Portrait Medallion Plaque 1780-1795
Rare antique British black basalt portrait medallion of Poppaea Sabina, wife of Roman Emperor Otho and second wife of Nero. Impressed Poppela below the portrait. Impressed Wedgwood on the reverse. Circa 1780 to 1795. Has a small chip to the back edge, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 1 3/4 inches wide x 2 1/8 inches tall.
