Latrille Limoges Hand Painted Watteau Scene Raised Gold Yellow Vase C.1899-1913
Nice antique French porcelain vase with Rococo Revival scrollwork handles. Has a painted painted Watteau / courting couple scene framed peach and raised gold scrollwork and small gold beads. Has a yellow background with peach below the neck. Gold gilding to the handles, around the top and base. Has raised gold leaf and lattice scrollwork on the back of the vase. Marked on the reverse in green with Limoges over a star and France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Freres Latrille in Limoges France between 1899 and 1913.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 7 inches wide x 12 1/2 inches tall.
