Antique Victorian / Edwardian Oval Portrait Frame
A charming antique oval frame constructed from pressed brass over a wooden core, dating to approximately circa 1880–1910. These frames were commonly used for Victorian studio portraits, cabinet photographs, or small painted portraits.
The frame features a simple stepped brass moulding with a warm aged patina, showing honest age and wear consistent with its period.
In good vintage condition with a lovely patina, original glass is included; it will need a new back made, as it is missing. See photos.
