Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions apply to all recycled vehicle parts supplied by Autospares & Salvage Ltd through this online platform.

Warranty

All parts purchased through this online platform are supplied with a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery unless otherwise stated in the listing.

An extended warranty can be arranged directly with Autospares & Salvage Ltd prior to purchase.

Our warranty applies only to the original purchaser named on the invoice and is not transferable.

The warranty covers the supplied part only and does not include labour, diagnostics, coding, programming, removal, refitting, consumables, transport costs or any consequential losses.

If a valid warranty claim is accepted and a replacement part is unavailable, a refund will be issued.

Product Information

All items supplied are recycled vehicle parts unless otherwise stated. As used parts, they may show signs of previous use and cosmetic wear consistent with their age.

Where possible, parts are inspected and tested before sale. Any item described as faulty, damaged, untested or sold as spares or repair is excluded from warranty.

Recorded vehicle mileage has not been independently verified and should be regarded as a guide only.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the correct part is ordered. Where possible, please compare the manufacturer's part number or contact us before purchasing if you require assistance. Send us your vehicle registration and we can check fitment prior to purchase.

Electrical & Electronic Parts

Unless specifically stated in the listing, ECUs and electronic control units are supplied without warranty.

Some electrical and electronic components may require coding, programming or calibration before installation. Any associated costs remain the purchaser's responsibility.

Engines & Gearboxes

Engines and gearboxes purchased through this online platform are supplied with a 30-day warranty.

An extended warranty can be arranged directly with Autospares & Salvage Ltd prior to purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, engines and gearboxes are supplied as bare units. Ancillary components including, but not limited to, water pumps, oil pumps, injectors, manifolds, sensors, timing components, clutches, flywheels, filters and wiring are supplied for convenience only and are not covered by warranty.

Engines and gearboxes must be professionally installed by an established motor repair business in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.

For any warranty claim, we may request copies of the fitting invoice together with receipts for replacement service items including timing belts or chains, water pumps, approved engine oil, oil filters and coolant.

The warranty will be void where failure results from overheating, lack of lubrication, incorrect installation, incorrect diagnosis, misuse, neglect, modification, track or competition use, or the failure of components not supplied by Autospares & Salvage Ltd.

Returns

If you no longer require a correctly supplied item, it may be returned within 30 days of receipt, provided it has not been fitted, dismantled, modified or damaged and is returned in its original condition with original packaging.

All returns must be processed using the online platform's returns procedure.

General

Please inspect all parts on delivery and report any shortages, transport damage or incorrect items promptly.

Security labels, serial numbers and identification markings must remain intact. Removal, alteration or tampering with these may invalidate the warranty.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
