Sci-Fi Machinery Wall — Freestanding Diorama Backdrop
A recessed equipment bay set between two heavy pilaster columns. The back panel is packed with machinery: a large circular valve head with radiating spokes, a porthole gauge, a screen bezel, conduits and bead-runs threading between the boxes, louvred vents and rows of stacked equipment cabinets. The pilasters step forward from the wall and carry their own vertical panel detail, so the piece reads with real depth rather than as a flat relief.
A figure stands inside the alcove, framed by the columns on either side — close in for a maintenance shot, or backed off so the whole wall fills the frame.

How it's made:
3D printed to order in quality gray PLA on our in-house production printers. The whole wall prints as one single object — there is nothing to assemble, nothing to glue and no join anywhere on it. The neutral gray displays well straight out of the box, and PLA takes primer and acrylics beautifully if you want painted steel, oiled machinery and lit screen faces.
